Resumes: How many years back should your jobs go?

I struggle with this. It used to not be a problem, but then I went and got old.

How do you deal with the jobs you held during the early part of your career?

It used to be you only showed the last 10 years or so. I choose to simply list the job titles for positions over 10 years ago on my resume.

What do you do?

If the old jobs are relative to the position you're applying for, leave them. Otherwise, 10 years is sufficient, or wherever you can easily break off to include your last few employers. For older workers, I also recommend removing the year of college graduation to avoid age discrimination.
